Steroid Therapy for Acute and Chronic Diseases

Steroid therapy is used to treat both acute and chronic diseases and is generally prescribed to suppress inflammation. For chronic diseases such as multiple sclerosis, steroid therapy infusions are usually scheduled every four weeks depending on the patient's clinical condition and are administered by a controlled gravity device.
